Before & After Care/Extended Day

St. John's Before School Care Program
St. John's provides a Before School Program that runs each day from 6:30-7:45 a.m.  If school is closed due to inclement weather, the program does not run. 

Parents must accompany children into the building and sign them in each day. 

Before Care will be held in the Library.  Please use the Library door when entering the building.

Breakfast is provided each day as a part of the Before School Program.  Please notify us of any food allergies that your child might have. 

The fee for the full time Before School Program is $90.00/month for the first child and $70.00/month for the second.  Drop in care is also available at a fee of $10.00 a day per child, payable when the child is signed in that morning.  Bills will be sent out at the beginning of the month for students in the full-time program.  (If your child is attending both Before and After Care, one bill will be sent for both.  Those enrolled in the full time program will be charged the full rate whether or not they use the program for the entire month.

St. John's After School Care Program
St. John's After School Care Program provides a schedule of supervised play, snack time and occasionally craft activities.  Time is also allotted for children to begin their homework.  Depending on the amount of time your child/ren are in the program, all homework may not be completed during the After School Care Program.

SJS After School Program runs each day from 3:00-5:30p.m.  There is a late fee of $1.00 for each minute parents are late picking up their child after closing time.  Children will only be released to legal guardians or designated persons as listed on the Registration Form.  Those picking up children must sign them out.  Children will not be allowed to go to the parking lot unaccompanied by an adult.  After Care pick-up will be in the Library.

The fee for full time After Care is $175.00/month for the first child and $135.00/month for the second.  After Care is also available on early dismissal days.  Notice that your child will be staying after on an early dismissal day should be given at least a week in advance, since it takes longer to prepare for these days. 

The program is not available on days that school is not in session.  Bills are sent out at the beginning of each month.  If your child is attending both before and after care, one bill will be sent for both.  Those enrolled in the full time program will be charged the full rate whether or not they use the program for the entire month.

Daily drop-in is also available at a rate of $15.00 a day per child regardless of how long your child stays that day.  Drop-in is also available on early dismissal days at a rate of $25.00 per child.  Payment is expected in full at the time of pick-up.  Please call the school or send a note on the date of an expected drop-in.
